When do pre-orders ship?
At season end. Allow one week for processing once magazines arrive.

How do I get my brand featured?
Feature your brand. Our team works with you to produce and publish campaign work.
How do I inquire about ad space?
Ad space inquiry. We curate media that fits the issue.
Pickup: Austin-based? Pick up your copy free at the B.O.A. release party (details shared at purchase).
Returns: No refunds. All sales final.
1.1 Bi-Annual Subscription — Two issues per calendar year. You will be charged twice yearly: approximately 2–3 weeks before each printing cycle. Your magazine copy ships at the end of each season.
1.2 Annual Subscription — One charge per calendar year. You will receive the previous issue immediately upon purchase, and the upcoming issue at season end.
1.3 Pre-Order — A one-time purchase for a single issue. No recurring charges.
2. Billing & Payment
2.1 Payment is processed via Stripe and charged to the payment method you provide at purchase.
2.2 For subscriptions, charges occur automatically on the dates specified in Section 1. You will receive a receipt via email.
2.3 All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
3. What's Included
3.1 All plans include one (1) copy of each issue shipped to your address.
4. Cancellation
4.1 You may cancel your subscription anytime. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial cycles.
4.2 To cancel, contact us at office@boamagazine.com with your subscription details.
5.1 Magazines ship at the end of each season. Allow one (1) week for processing once magazines are available.
5.2 Austin-based subscribers may pick up their copy free at the B.O.A. release party instead of shipping (details provided at purchase).
5.3 B.O.A. is not responsible for delays caused by carrier or undeliverable addresses. You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
6. Refunds & Returns
6.1 All sales are final. No refunds are issued for subscriptions or pre-orders.
6.2 If a magazine arrives damaged, contact us within 14 days of receipt for replacement.
7. Changes to Terms
7.1 We may update these terms anytime. Continued subscription or purchase constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

1.1 When you subscribe or pre-order, we collect:

- Shipping address
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card details)
1.2 When you apply as a contributor or inquire about features/ads, we collect:
- Name, email, phone
- Portfolio or work samples (links/attachments you provide)
- Any additional information you submit in your inquiry
1.3 We may collect usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) via standard website analytics to improve our site.
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Fulfillment: To ship magazines, process payments, and send event details.
2.2 Communication: To send order confirmations, event invitations, and season announcements to subscribers.
2.3 Contributor/Partner Inquiries: To review applications and respond to partnership requests.
2.4 Analytics: To understand how visitors use our site and improve our service.
2.5 We do not use your information for marketing beyond B.O.A. Magazine updates. You can opt out of all communications anytime.
3. Data Security
3.1 Your payment information is encrypted and processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card details.
3.2 We use industry-standard security practices to protect your personal information. However, no online transmission is 100% secure.
4. Sharing Your Information
4.1 We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
4.2 We share shipping information only with our fulfillment partner (necessary to deliver your magazine).
4.3 We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Your Rights
5.1 You can request to see, update, or delete your personal information anytime. Contact us at office@boamagazine.
5.2 You can unsubscribe from B.O.A. communications anytime by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or contacting us directly.
5.3 If you are located in the EU, you have rights under GDPR. Contact us for details.
6. Third-Party Services
6.1 We use Stripe for payments and Google Sheets/Apps Script for subscriber management. Their privacy policies govern their handling of data.
